The PIER Committee is delighted to have been awarded the EIPG President's Award at the recent General Assembly in Malta. This award is in recognition of PIER's support in rolling out joint educational webinars for EIPG members over the past year. Helen Naddy (PIER Secretary) accepted the award on behalf of PIER. The Committee would like to acknowledge the technological support of UCC School of Pharmacy in facilitating these webinars.
There are eight candidates running for five pharmacist positions on the PSI Council. The ballot papers will be distributed by Tuesday 4th April 2017. Completed ballot papers must returned to the Returning Officer by 5pm on Wednesday, 19th April 2017. We encourage all PIER members who are on the PSI register to vote.

The 'Falsified Medicines Directive' webinar has been rescheduled to Tuesday 14th March 2017 @ 4pm. Anne Hayes (Inspection Manager, HPRA) and Professor Claude Farrugia (EIPG President & University of Malta) will present.
